This was an article in Florida Today, June 16, 2010. They wrongly list me as a West Marine employee and state the location as Merritt Island when it's Cocoa Village. I was the only volunteer to show up initially and worked for 2 hours before the heat was too much for me. Went to Dog 'N" Bone to cool off with a Harp and watch the World Cup match between France and Nigeria with Molly. Got a World Cup Harp glass from Molly. The West Marine crew came in about noon after they finished the boat ramp repairs. I went to Ossorio's for lunch and then back to Dog 'N' Bone for the USA vs England match at 2:30. Was pretty wiped out after that so went back to the boat for a little rest. Then back to D 'N' B for the monthly BBQ (still vegen so didn't eat anything but beans and cole slaw) and quit before the band started at 9:30 - a long day in the heat.

Volunteering at the Boat Ramp repair day in Cocoa Village, June 12, 2010
